A beach lawn for five hundred, or a table for six
The resort sells itself to event planners as much as to holidaymakers. It says it can host corporate events and conferences for up to 500 delegates, with indoor and outdoor options. For weddings, the line on its own page is "Say 'I do' with the Mindil Beach sunset as your backdrop" — which, for a site built around that sunset, I can only agree with.

Weddings
The resort's wedding page offers everything from garden ceremonies to ballroom receptions, with wedding coordinators, and it ties the whole thing to the sunset. The obvious pairing is a ceremony on the Beachside Lawns timed to the last half hour of light, then a reception in the air-conditioned Beachside Pavilion or the Grand Ballroom.
If you are planning one, look at the sunset table before you fix a ceremony time. In the Dry, a 6pm start catches the gold; in the Wet, the sun sets as late as 7.19pm but rain and storms are the risk. The Mindil Suite is the room I would hold for the couple.
Chapter 3Socials, birthdays and groups
The resort lists birthdays, hens parties, corporate socials, festivals and concerts, and special milestones among the social events it hosts. Sandbar can be booked exclusively, and il Piatto can be hired privately. For a small group, The Vue's private dining room is the more intimate option.
Conferences
Up to 500 delegates, a 433 m² ballroom, a boardroom, and outdoor lawns for breaks are the published facts. For people attending a conference rather than organising one, the useful detail is that the resort lists free on-site parking, complimentary Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception, and that Sandbar opens at 4pm — the right hour for the end of a working day.

Event spaces, catering and contracts are handled by the resort's own events team; this site does not book them. What we can do is take a request for accommodation for your group or wedding party, check rooms and rates with the resort or a booking partner, and reply by email.
