It is on the coast north-west of the city centre, between the beach and the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens. The resort describes itself as minutes from the CBD; my own route checks are below.

Google's own summary of the hotel puts it about 11.5 km from the airport, slightly more than the driving routes I checked. Either way, it is a short ride.

The walk is fine on a dry-season morning and hard work on a Wet afternoon. In the heat, the bus or a taxi is the sensible choice.
Chapter 4Parking and arrival
- Parking: the resort lists free on-site parking.
- Reception: open 24 hours.
- Card at check-in: a physical credit card is required on arrival for pre-authorisation; digital cards on phones are not accepted.
- Check-in and check-out times: not published on the resort pages I read — ask.
- Market nights: on Thursdays and Sundays in the Dry the market's free parking is reached via Gilruth Avenue, and the market itself advises arriving early. I would aim to check in before 4pm on those days.
- Renovation: from 1 November 2026 to mid-April 2027 the resort warns of temporary changes to access routes in parts of the hotel and resort.
