The room for people who want to be in it
This is the room I would pick in the build-up months, when the air at 4pm feels like a damp towel. The resort's description is unusually direct: plunge into the lagoon pool from your private deck and swim up to the Lagoon Bar. That bar is described as Darwin's only swim-up bar, and the swim-up part is reserved for hotel and resort guests.

Lagoon Bar trades from 1pm until sunset, so the room's best hours are the second half of the day. After dark the pool becomes the view.
Chapter 2The trade-off
A deck at water level is public-facing in a way a balcony is not; other guests swim past. If privacy matters more than access, the Lagoon Room on the first floor is the alternative.
Chapter 3Families
The two-queen layout makes this one of the easier resort rooms for four people. I would still keep an eye on children near a pool that starts at the door.
