The only promise of a sunset
I read every room description on the resort's site looking for one thing, and this is the only suite where the sunset is written into the room itself. The balcony overlooks the infinity pool, which is set against the sea. If your trip is built around the half hour when the sky turns from gold to coral to violet, this is the room where the resort has committed to the view in writing.
The rest of the suite supports long evenings: a lounge and a dining area, so dinner can be eaten looking out; a powder room so guests do not walk through the bedroom; a double spa bath and a large shower.

Timing the balcony
Using the US Naval Observatory tables for Darwin, the sun sets between about 6.29pm (May–June) and 7.19pm (January), and civil twilight ends roughly twenty to twenty-five minutes later. In the Dry, plan to be on the balcony by 6.15pm; in the Wet, by 6.45pm, and expect clouds to steal or improve the show. The full month-by-month table is on sunset times.
Chapter 3Before you request it
Ask whether the suite is affected by the Stage 2 renovation if you travel between 1 November 2026 and mid-April 2027, and remember the resort needs a physical credit card for pre-authorisation at check-in.
